NEWS

A new website comes with many news: Our National Geographic Book "Abenteuer Dolomiten" is on the market! After one year of preparations and talks with our great agent Ute Heek, followed by a year of shooting, over 250 kilometers on foot, bike, touring skies or rock climbing, over 30 000 images and a lot of hard work of a skilled postproduction team involved, I hold it in my hands - but in my mind, I am already planning the next adventure. More to come soon!

In october, our film about the Dolomites will be shown on SERVUS TV. Please, stay in touch about the exact broadcast dates.

Another exciting news: We can now offer aerial film and photography on a very high professional level. Together with my husband Basti, we invested into a very (I mean, VERY- in fact, by far the most expensive thing I ever bought) expensive camera drone. It took Basti (who was accepted from Lufthansa to become a pilot before he met me) almost half a year to learn how to fly the drone in all conditions, in all circumstances, in all crazy angles, following even my most extraordinary image requests. It took me four attempts (of which I crashed three times) to find out that I am better in operating the camera. After all, I am a professional image maker, and not a pilot! I can film in 4K (not on a Go-Pro, of course!!!!), photograph with my Canon 5D MIII, and can even operate a larger camera in the air. Check out "aerial", where you can find a link to www.bastihofmann.com to find out more.

If you ever dream of doing something extraordinary, we have set the dates for our Expeditions and Photo-workshops for 2015. Why not come on adventure with us?
Thank you for your interest in my work, life and passions. Please, enjoy exploring the new website.

Since 1997 I am in love with this beautiful country in the South Pacific and return every year at least once. Many people are like family to me. From them, I have learned how little it takes to be happy, and not how much. Now, my friends have lost the…
